For an elegant hairstyle or special touch, why not add decorative hairpins? You can make your own using a little glue, some hair pins, and a few simple craft items.

Select the type of hairpins and decorations you prefer--try different kinds to see what style you prefer. Try to choose only one large bead per pin to avoid unsightly glue residue.

For lightweight pins, slide smaller beads with bigger holes directly onto the pin. A touch of glue should hold the hair ornament permanently in place.

To add a bigger bead or sequin, dab the front or top of the pin with glue, then press the decoration in place. Let it dry for a few minutes (or longer, depending on the type of glue used) before testing.
